  9. NEW MKDA MERCHANSIDE

MKDA is excited to announce we have teamed up Kim Fleury from “Craft Studios by Kim”. Kim is currently working on creative, new designs for our MKDA merchandise. We will have an online merchandise store open all year round directly from our website. You will be able to submit orders online at any point during the course of this season. These will make great birthday or Christmas gifts! We will also have sample sizes available to try on in our office.

Kim will be making t-shirts, tank tops, joggers, hoodies and other goodies!

Here is an example of her work:

  10. LIMELIGHT ORDERS

As you may or may not know, MKDA is also teamed up with Limelight Teamwear, a Toronto-based company that makes branded apparel for companies. Our branded apparel is only available to order the week of October 2nd. Julie Prévost will be in the office the week of October 2nd with all samples. You will be able to place your orders and make your payments with her. You can order jackets, leggings, shorts, leotards, backpacks etc.

*PLEASE NOTE: All competitive team dancers are required to order one of these jackets.

  11. DANCE BUG FEES

Please note the Dance Bug Fee will automatically be charged on the credit card on file on October 1st to anyone who hasn’t added it to their registration. Julie has emailed all the accounts missing this fee.

  12. SPORTSENGINE APP

Please make sure you download the SportsEngine App. All teachers will be using this app for communication. All videos, recital costume pictures etc. will be downloaded to the app. You

can even add your child’s measurements. If you have any questions pertaining to this new app, please reach out to Julie at office@themkda.com.

  13. RECITAL COSTUME MEASUREMENTS

Yes, you read that right! Costume measurements are due before October 2nd. You can enter your child’s measurements using the SportsEngine app! PLEASE NOTE: Miss Julie will not be measuring students this year. If we do not receive your child’s measurements, Julie will need to guess what size to order your child. This may result in the costume being too big or too small, and alternations will need to be made and your expense.

  14. DANCING WITH THE DOCS – TADH FUNDRAISING EVENT

The Timmins & District Hospital has partnered up with MKDA for an evening of Dancing With The Docs. This event is a fundraiser for our hospital and a spin off from the hit TV series: Dancing With The Stars. The MKDA Faculty is honored to have been asked to participate and we are extremely excited for this SOLD OUT EVENT!

*PLEASE NOTE: Due to the fact that most of our faculty is involved in this fundraiser, we have no choice but to cancel classes on the two following days:
