MKDA is more than a dance studio; it is a family. Melissa’s professionalism, passion and heart are contagious, and she easily spreads that goodness on to her staff, her students and their families. No matter the age, the gender or level of experience an aspiring dancer has, they will find a home at MKDA; a place to learn and grow doing what they love and forming bonds that will last a lifetime. I’ve had the immense pleasure of being an MKDA dance mom for a decade now. I will forever be grateful for the gained experiences and lessons, the joys and achievements, the friendships and memories, and the overall personal growth my boys have experienced at the studio.

Our family cannot say enough good things about MKDA! We have been a dancing family since my daughter was still a toddler and our heart belongs to dance at MKDA! We couldn’t be prouder to be part of the MKDA family and team! I am an adult dancer and my daughter has now been dancing at MKDA for 7 years. As a director, Melissa does an incredible job of creating a TEAM. She and all the teachers always show so much care, passion, enthusiasm and heart for their students. Their own enthusiasm, passion and love of dance helps guide, bolster and nurture our love of dance, our passion and confidence. We can’t thank them enough! The competitive team is amazing, too. They support each other, they cheer each other on, bolster one another. They have the most incredible team spirit. MKDA is synonymous with team spirit…they are unparalleled! We HEART MKDA! We couldn’t imagine dancing for anyone else!

MKDA is more than just a dance studio…when you join MKDA you become part of a dance FAMILY; a family that looks out for one another, encourages each other and are a source of support during the difficult times. MKDA has a team of highly trained professionals who cultivate, foster and encourage an environment that is positive, safe, inclusive, and supportive. As a parent who has seen her daughter grow, challenge herself, thrive and achieve, I could not imagine being part of any other dance school. Melissa and her team at MKDA are both passionate about what they do and extremely professional. They stay current, collaborate with leaders in the dance industry, and offer a wide variety of classes across many genres with quality instruction. What I like most about MKDA is that it is not just a dance school, it is a dance family where everyone is made to feel welcome. As a first-time dance mom, I really appreciated being able to stay to watch my daughter dance, progress week to week, and develop new friendships. We can’t wait for next season!
