1. LIMELIGHT TEAMWEAR

   We are thrilled to announce that our Limelight MKDA Merchandise will be available for purchase from Monday, September 29th to October 10th (after this date, the online store will be closed).

   Just like last year, we have the convenience of an online store to make things easier for everyone. To make sure you order the right size, we will have all sample sizes available for you to try in Studio B starting NOW! When trying on the samples, we kindly ask that you please hang up the samples exactly where you got them. The more organized the samples are, the better it will be for everyone. If you don’t see the sizes on the front of the garment, please make sure to look inside for the size tag.

2. THANKSGIVING

    

   The studio is closed for Thanksgiving weekend: October 11th-13th. Classes resume on Tuesday, October 14th. There ARE classes on Friday, October 10th.

3. ​ DANCING WITH THE DOCS

   As stated in our September Newsletter:

   MKDA teachers are involved and volunteering their time for Timmins & District Hospital fundraiser called ‘’Dancing With The Docs’’ to be held at The Dante Club on Thursday, October 23rd. We are always proud to be active members of this community and giving our time for this event is very important to us. Since the event itself and dress rehearsal are during the week, we will be cancelling classes on the following two days (please mark your calendars):

   Wednesday, October 22nd Thursday, October 23rd

4. DANCE DAD’S WANTED!!

   MKDA is looking for Dad’s who are willing to bust a move on our stage at the year-end dance recital!! Our Dance Dads are always a crowd favorite at our year-end show, and we want to get as many Dads on stage as possible! We are thrilled to see that 21 DADS (and even uncles) are already registered and committed, but there is always room for MORE! 

   Please note: Your first class will be on Wednesday, October 29th from 6:30-7:30pm in Studio A. During your first class, Melissa will share the theme of your dance and you’ll start learning it THAT DAY – Therefore come ready to learn, have fun & sweat!

   Oh! Did we forget to mention…..If your son/daughter is on our competitive team, you will also be performing this dance at both of our DANCE COMPETITIONS in Niagara Falls & Collingwood!! 

5. COSTUME MEASUREMENTS

   Costume measurements are due before November 15th. You can enter your child’s measurements by following the steps below:

   *Sign in to: app.jackrabbitclass.com….This will bring you to your parent portal.

   *Click on your child’s name.

   *Click on the tab that says “sizes”

   *Enter the measurements in INCHES & hit SAVE!

   *IMPORTANT: Dancers ages 8 and under need to add 1” to their measurements to factor growth.

   PLEASE NOTE: Miss Julie will not be measuring students this year. If we do not receive your child’s measurements, Julie will need to guess what size to order your child. This may result in the costume being too big or too small, and alternations will need to be made at your expense.

    

6. HALLOWEEN

There will be no classes on Halloween night (Friday, October 31st).
