Our Motto
Our motto at MKDA is Live, Love & Dance. We make it out priority to ensure quality dance training while having fun. We offer recreational and competitive programs and, for the more serious dancer, we offer ballet examinations through the Cecchetti Society of Canada. With all the evolution in dance, we are dedicated to provide fresh, new moves with a cutting edge. MKDA displays their Heart of Gold by donating to local charities to better the lives of Northerners.
The Melissa Kelly Dance Academy offers 2 spacious dance studios providing you with top quality, professional dance flooring, 2 observation areas, 2 change rooms (1 for boys and 1 for girls) and high ceilings. This newly renovated facility is conveniently located in downtown Timmins.
Services include: ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, tot classes, adult classes, latin classes and professional examinations with the Cecchetti Society of Canada. The owner and operator, Melissa Kelly, is a fully qualified instructor who is a graduate of the Teacher Training Program at Canada’s National Ballet School.
