Christmas celebration for saturday dancers
December 6th marks the last day of Term 1!! The Saturday teachers always love making this day special for their young dancers! We are ending Term 1 with a wonderful Christmas celebration for all our Saturday dancers.
On this special day, we have a revised schedule as we combine some classes together to make it more exciting!
Date: Saturday, December 6th
Where: MKDA Studio A
Attire: All dancers arrive with their regular dance apparel and shoes. Feel free to wear Christmas hats or anything festive in the hair!
What: We dance to Christmas music for 15 minutes. Following the dance portion of the class, we will sing and greet our “JOLLY SPECIAL GUEST”. We will hand out bags of yummy treats for all dancers and everyone will leave with a gift from Santa J Santa will also be available for pictures.
Parents observing: Parents are welcome to stay and watch. We will have some chairs in the studio, but we do ask that parents remove their boots before coming into the studio. Parents can also watch from the upstairs observation area. Keep in mind we will have 63 dancers in one class and 60 in the other, therefore, we ask that no more than one parent per dancer observes class.
SPECIAL PRESENTATION FOR SANTA!! Since we have started recital choreographies in each class, we will invite all groups to perform their recital dance for other dancers and for SANTA! Choreography will certainly not be done by then, but this is a great way to practice and to get our young dancers used to performing in front of a small audience.
