REVISION #8 – DANCE SCHEDULE
Please be advised the schedule has changed following the registration deadline. You can see the revised schedule (REVISION #8) on our website: https://www.themkda.com/schedule/
There have been changes to the Thursday schedule (in both studios), and we have added a
Tot Ballet class on Saturday mornings at 9:00am and all students who have been transferred to that class have been notified. We also added a second Jazz 3 class and students who have been transferred to the Thursday class have already been emailed.
We would like to give a warm welcome back to all MKDA dancers & families, and wishing all NEW MKDA dancers a fantastic 1st year as part of this great big family! We are thrilled to welcome everyone in our happy place where all dancers feel included, welcomed and free to be themselves.
Our season begins on Monday, September 15th! Mark your calendars!

Term 1 ends on Saturday, December 7th (at the exception of the “rescheduled classes” held the week of Dec. 9th to 13th).
Term 2 starts on Monday, January 13th, 2025.
The “RESCHEDULED CLASSES” schedule was sent in a separate email on November 29th. We hope that all dancers can make it for their rescheduled class(es). If your dancer cannot attend these classes, please let the teacher know PRIOR to the class.

This year, we have the convenience of an online store to make things easier for everyone. To make sure you order the right size, we have all sample sizes available for you to try in Studio B. When trying on the samples, we kindly ask that you please hang up the samples exactly where you got them. The more organized the samples are, the better it will be for everyone. If you don’t see the sizes on the front of the garment, please make sure to look inside for the size tag.

Timmins’ own Melissa Kelly-Lavoie has earned top honors at the prestigious Nova Awards 2024, taking home the Newmont Porcupine Young Leader Award. This accolade is a testament to MKDA’s exceptional contribution to youth development through dance.
MKDA, known for its innovative dance programs and community outreach, has been a pillar in nurturing young talent in the Timmins area.
