6. NO HAIR OR MAKEUP AT RECITAL!!
We are sorry to inform you that we will not have volunteers
helping out with hair and makeup at recital this year. Our hair & makeup artists were treated
very poorly last year by many of our dancers and, as a consequence, we are
removing this free service to all dancers.
Parents will need to ensure their child’s hair & makeup is done at
home or by a hair dresser. MKDA was
proud to offer this service to their dancers, however the mistreatment and
bullying these volunteers received last year was unacceptable on all levels.
wish to inform you that as of Feb 1st 2018, KIDSPORT
will no longer be affiliated with Kidsport
Canada. They are now called “Sports
for Kids Timmins”. This will ensure all contributions remain
locally and benefit deserving children from low income families in Timmins. The
organization will continue to operate in the same manner.
