2. TROPHY SHOP FOR ALL DANCEWEAR REQUIREMENTS
If you require any tights or shoes, we ask that you go to the Trophy Shop: 21 Father Costello Drive, Schumacher. 705-264-3444. Since First Choice Dancewear is now closed; this is the only dancewear store available to us.
3. RECITAL DVD’S
You may still purchase your recital DVD’s for this upcoming dance recital. Please see Mardi in the office for more details or contact her at: email@example.com
4. RECITAL VOLUNTEERS
We are already looking for recital volunteers. We cannot put on a show of this size without the help of the parents. It is easy to submit your name; simply go to: http://www.themkda.com and go to the “RECITAL INFO” page and click on “VOLUNTEERS”. Here is the direct link: http://www.themkda.com/recital-info/volunteer/
5. CORRECT EMAIL ADDRESS
If you have changed your email address, please inform Mardi ASAP. In March, we will be sending the link for ticket sales and we want to make sure everyone receives this link.
6. NO HAIR OR MAKEUP AT RECITAL!!
We are sorry to inform you that we will not have volunteers helping out with hair and makeup at recital this year. Our hair & makeup artists were treated very poorly last year by many of our dancers and, as a consequence, we are removing this free service to all dancers. Parents will need to ensure their child’s hair & makeup is done at home or by a hair dresser. MKDA was proud to offer this service to their dancers, however the mistreatment and bullying these volunteers received last year was unacceptable on all levels.
We wish to inform you that as of Feb 1st 2018, KIDSPORT will no longer be affiliated with Kidsport Canada. They are now called “Sports for Kids Timmins”. This will ensure all contributions remain locally and benefit deserving children from low income families in Timmins. The organization will continue to operate in the same manner.
We have made some revisions to this document and are attaching it with this email. Please mark the changes for March Break.
