1. ABSENCES

We really appreciate receiving phone calls, text messages and/or emails when your child is not able to attend dance.  This makes our life easier, as it helps us maintain record of reasons of absences.

2.  SANTA CLAUS PARADE – URGENT

We are desperately reaching out for more dancers wanting to take part in the DANCING PORTION of the parade.  Our float reached maximum capacity very quickly, however, at this moment, we do not have enough dancers who signed up for the DANCING PORTION of the parade. We thank the 14 dancers who signed up, but we are looking to have at least 30-40 dancers ages 12+.

We only have two short practices for the dancing portion which are:

Thursday,
November 4th from 7:30-8:00

Thursday,
November 11th from 7:30-8:00

It is not too late to sign up.  The sign-up sheet is located on the door of the small change room in the main entrance. We are also taking sign-ups via email:
melissa@themka.com.

We would be very sad to cancel the parade due to low participation; let’s all get into the Christmas spirit and remember the bright spirit of MKDA!

3.  RECITAL THEME

We would like to thank all of you who have reached out and given us your business name for this year’s recital – “Celebrating Our City”.  If you’ve missed the email sent on October 27th, we have attached it to
this email.

4. COSTUME MEASUREMENTS

We are still missing quite a few measurements from dancers.  Deadline to submit measurement forms is November 30th.  You can conveniently fill this out on our website:  http://www.themkda.com.

-Go to the drop down menu of “ABOUT MKDA

-Select “FORMS

-You’ll see a drop-down “+” sign for “COSTUME MEASUREMENT FORM”.

-Fill it out and click SUBMIT.

**Our office administrator, Mardi, has been very helpful and gracious with her time by measuring most dancers in the past few years.  This year, we want to avoid Mardi doing all the measuring as we want to keep her safe & healthy.  Please do your part in helping J
