**NOTE: We had to make revisions to both schedules as there were conflicts & add-ons.  These revisions occurred on March 1st; therefore if you printed any of these schedules prior to this date, please re-print the correct versions available online.




The studio will be closed from March 12th to March 18th.  Regular classes will resume on Monday, March 20th.

**NOTE:  Ms. Julie & Mr. Brandon will be scheduling competitive classes on Sunday, March 19th.  Detailed schedule will follow at a later date.




Every year, MKDA submits a COSTUME REQUIREMENT document which contains ALL costume information for each group.  We outline requirements for tights, shoes, costume accessories, costume details, hair & makeup.  This is your personal checklist; please refer to it as it answers many questions you may have pertaining to your dancer’s costume(s).   This document will be available online by Friday, March 3rd.  You will find it on the ‘’RECITAL INFO’’ page on our website.

**MARDI is selling all rhinestone earrings (including clip-ons) and rhinestone ponytail holders in the office:  Rhinestone earrings are $18.00 each and Rhinestone ponytail holders are $25.00 each.




You can purchase all tights from Chrislynn Losier at FIRST CHOICE DANCEWEAR located at: 70 Balsam St South (Just Natural Holistic Spa):  705-268-0333.  Please call them to find out hours of operation.

You will be able to purchase all tights at First Choice Dancewear:  Beige, Pink Ballet, Beige cut-off tights, Beige fishnets and Convertible tights.  The only tights you cannot purchase are the RHINESTONE, BLACK FISHNETS (which are only available at the MKDA office). 




We are still looking for volunteers for all three performances.  Submitting your name is easy & quick on our website:  We appreciate any help we can get as a show this big cannot go on without the help & dedication of our volunteers.




We are so pleased to announce we are doing ticket sales the same way as last year:  Online!! Everything went so smoothly we cannot do it any other way! Purchase your recital tickets from the comfort of your own home or tablet!  Here’s how it will work:


Price of tickets:  As usual, this will be a reserved seating event.  $20.00 for side seats and $23.00 for middle seats.


How?  All MKDA families will receive an email with the direct link to ON STAGE DIRECT (which is the company we use to purchase tickets).  On the first day, families will be able to purchase 10 tickets each and additional tickets may be purchased during our ”General Public’‘ dates.  You will be receiving your direct link by email so please keep your eyes out on your emails with SUBJECT LINEDIRECT LINK FOR TICKET SALE.  All those wanting to pay by cash or debit, will need to come in at the studio during regular office hours.  No tickets can be printed without full payment.


When?  Saturday, March 25th starting at 9:00am (presale):  Ticket sales for last year’s volunteers, MKDA staff & recital program sponsors.  These people will receive the PRESALE link by email.  SUBJECT LINE:  PRESALE LINK FOR RECITAL TICKETS.


Sunday, March 26th starting at Midnight:  Ticket sale for MKDA families.


Monday, March 27th starting at Midnight to Thursday, April 20th:  Ticket sale for General Public.  There will be a link on every page of our website entitled:  PURCHASE RECITAL TICKETS HERE.  


Recital Dates:  Friday, April 21st at 7:00pm (Senior  Show), Saturday, April 22nd  at 1:00pm (Full Show) and Sunday, April 23rd  at 1:00pm (Full Show).


**NOTE:  AFTER APRIL 20th, tickets can only be purchased at the door 1 hour prior to each show.




The banquet will be held on Wednesday, May 10th at the Dante Club: Doors open at 5:00pm.  This is always a special time of the year where we celebrate all dancers and their success.  Join us for an evening of Italian dinner, celebrating our dancers, awards and leave with a special MKDA gift.  We will notify parents of the dancers receiving an award ahead of time so you may purchase your tickets.   Tickets are $35.00 for adults and $15.00 for children 12 under.  You may purchase these tickets starting Monday, March 6th 2017 during office hours.




We will be dealing with the same company as last year for DVD’s because the quality was excellent and the price was unbeatable!  Dance Bug is the name of the company.  For $23.00 you will have access to the Senior & Full Show online.  If you wish to purchase a hard copy of the DVD, you may do so by paying $8.00 to Dance Bug directly.  Mardi is ready to accept payment for DVD’s during office hours.




Tickets are now on sale at our office and at Dubé Designs.  Tickets are $10.00 and proceeds go to our competitive dance team.  Come support our competitive dance team and see outstanding routines & talent not available at our year-end recital.  The showcase will be held on Tuesday, April 18th at 7:00pm at École secondaire catholique Thériault auditorium.
