LEVELS FOR THE 2020-2021 SEASON
LEVELS FOR THE 2020-2021 SEASON (Revision 3)
In order to facilitate registration, we have made a list of classes and have indicated what level is next. The 2020-2021 schedule will be posted on our website on August 8th.
Please note: Unless otherwise stated by one of the teachers, your child will progress to the next level.
–Tot Ballet: This class is 30 minutes in length and is designed for 3 year olds.
-Tot Ballet will register for Creative Ballet.
-Creative Ballet will register for Pre-Primary Ballet.
-Pre-Primary Ballet will register for Primary Ballet.
-Primary Ballet will register for Grade 1 Ballet.
-Grade 1 Ballet will register for Grade 2 Ballet.
-Grade 2 Ballet will register for Grade 3 Ballet.
-Grade 3 Ballet will register for Grade 4 Ballet.
-Grade 4 Ballet will register for Grade 5 Ballet.
-Grade 5 Ballet will register for Elementary Ballet / Dancers registering for this class, also need to register for a 30 minute separate “Pointe Prep” class. Competitive dancers would register for Teen Competitive Ballet and “Pointe Prep”.
-Grade 6 Ballet will register for Elementary Ballet/ Dancers registering for this class, also need to register for a 30 minute separate “Pointe Prep” class. Competitive dancers would register for Teen Competitive Ballet and “Pointe Prep”.
-Senior Ballet will register for Advanced Ballet. You will have the option of choosing “with pointe” (1.5 hours in length) or “without pointe” (1 hour in length).
-Advanced 1 Ballet will register for Advanced Ballet. You will have the option of choosing “with pointe” (1.5 hours in length) or “without pointe” (1 hour in length).
-Advanced 2 Ballet will register for Competitive Advanced Ballet. You will have the option of choosing “with pointe” (1.5 hours in length) or “without pointe” (1 hour in length).
–Tap/Jazz Combo: Combined class with half the year of tap, and half the year of jazz.
-Grade 1 Tap will register for Grade 2 Tap.
-Beginner Teen Tap will register for Teen Tap.
-Advanced Tap will remain in Advanced Tap.
-Competitive Advanced Tap will register for Competitive Tap.
-Jazz 1 will register for Jazz 2.
-Jazz 2 will register for Jazz 3.
-Jazz 3 will register for Jazz 4.
-Jazz 5 will register for Elementary Jazz. Competitive dancers would register for Competitive Teen Jazz.
-Elementary Jazz will register for Intermediate Jazz. Competitive dancers would register for Competitive Teen Jazz.
-Senior Jazz will register for Advanced Jazz.
-Advanced Jazz will register for Competitive Advanced Jazz.
-Beginner Hip Hop will register for Level 1 Hip Hop.
-Level 1 Hip Hop will register for Level 2 Hip Hop.
-Level 3 Hip Hop will register for Level 4 Hip Hop.
-Senior Hip Hop will register for Advanced Hip Hop.
-Junior Competitive Hip Hop will register in Teen Competitive Hip Hop.
-Advanced Hip Hop will remain in Advanced Hip Hop.
-Competitive Advanced Hip Hop will remain in Competitive Advanced Hip Hop.
-Adult Hip Hop will remain in Adult Hip Hop.
-Elementary Contemporary will register for Intermediate Contemporary.
-Senior Contemporary will register for Advanced 1 Contemporary. Competitive dancers would register for Competitive Teen Contemporary.
-Advanced Contemporary will register for Advanced 2 Contemporary. Competitive dancers would register for Competitive Teen Contemporary.
-Competitive Advanced Contemporary will remain in Competitive Advanced Contemporary.
-Adult Lyrical will remain in Adult Lyrical.
-Junior 1 Acrobatics will remain in Junior 1 Acrobatics.
-Junior 2 Acrobatics will remain in Junior 2 Acrobatics.
-Elementary Acrobatics will remain in Elementary Acrobatics.
-Senior Acrobatics will remain in Senior Acrobatics.
-Intermediate Musical Theatre will remain in Intermediate Musical Theatre.
-Advanced Musical Theatre will remain in Advanced Musical Theatre.
**Due to COVID-19, we had to eliminate Aerial Silks and Ukra Hip Hop for this year. We will resume with these genres in the 2021-2022 season.
